maybe a better example would be that I'm glad that I can go overseas because aeroplanes exist- and they wouldn't without science.

actually Godel's uncertainty principle states that not everythign is provable or knowable. anyway, it's not like you HAVE to be scientific, you can always choose to do whatever you like really!

uni science (and philosophy of science) is sooo diff from high school science - ie they encourage you to ask questions

@edythemighty I agree with edy. I mean, Carl Jung believed that tarot worked, for example, but the reason he gave was a scientific one- tarot taps into your unconscious cultural archetypes
